Our team identified a pocket of 200 households in the town. We began by studying the habits of all the stakeholders. Based on our research we used creative communication tools such as stickers, posters, and a computer games.

We strategically spread the message of segregation at source and encouraged people to make it a habit. This experiment gave us the confidence that by consistent follow ups we can change people’s mindsets.

Swachagraha also made an impact on the collection system. We streamlined the door to door collection in the selected pocket and showed that timely collection can motivate maximum recycling.
